The Hof Hospitality Group is a leading provider of quality food and beverage products with clients across Australia, UAE, India and the Bavarian region. They depend on us to provide quality products that are essential to the everyday running of their businesses.

Established in 2005 with the objective of enhancing the independent companies in a market place dominated by big chains and poor-quality products. The concept of Hof Hospitality Group started in 2005 in an 800-seat restaurant based out of Western Sydney. It was there that entrepreneur Chris Zechner started putting together his team to start the movement towards independent company products.

The board of directors have a strong affiliation with the Bavarian region and have developed what was a small restaurant into a global company. Expanding from hospitality into food production, import and export of quality products from Europe and Australia.

Our company philosophy is to ensure that the consumer receives quality independent products at an affordable price.

Company highlights

In 2008 the group acquired Hofbrauhaus is a very busy traditional Bavarian Restaurant in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD.  Established in 1967, Hofbrauhaus has gone from strength to strength under the current ownership turning a 200-seater restaurant into a dual restaurant with 400-person capacity.

2011
established a relationship with Arcobrau and became the exclusive distributor for their beer range. A Production Kitchen in Sunshine which produces foods for the restaurants to ensure consistency and quality. These some of the food is sourced from Germany and Australia Importing relationship with key stakeholders in Germany importing our first container of raw goods

2012
Established relationships with external customers importing good from Germany such as pretzels. Opened Hof Downtown in docklands providing the consumer with a modernised Bavarian experience.

2013
Expanded business relationships to the UAE beginning a distribution channel from Europe to UAE

2014
Expanded business relationships in India

2015
Plans approved to open brewery in India expected completion 2019

2016
Relationship with key providers established with exporting of Australian quality meats and products on a global scale

2017
First containers of Australian quality beef being export through Hof Hospitality Group begins.

2019
A new venue in Asia is planned to be opened in partnership with a local renowned Hotel.

2020
A new venue concept is planned to open in mid 2020.
